וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ וּקְחוּ־קֶ֔מַח וַיַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְ אֶל־הַסִּ֑יר וַיֹּ֗אמֶר צַ֤ק לָעָם֙ וְיֹאכֵ֔לוּ וְלֹ֥א הָיָ֛ה דָּבָ֥ר רָ֖ע בַּסִּֽיר׃ (ס)

Ele, porém, disse:  Trazei farinha.  E deitou-a na panela, e disse:  Tirai para os homens, a fim de que comam.  E já não havia mal nenhum na panela.

as if to say and there was something, because up until now, there hadn't been anything poisonous or deadly (in the pot)
